Azaria Lives

The Kingpins with Muthu Arts and Jaya Arts and Digital Pondicherry. Kaliman Gallery 2007. 

The Kingpins create an alternative fiction to the baby Azaria Chamberlain disappearance that occurred in June 1980 at Uluru central Australia. In their reimagining Azaria was not killed in the outback but instead raised by dingos. The exhibition comprises of a series of paintings created in Pondicherry with Indian cinema painters Muthu Arts and Jaya Arts and Digital. The installation at Kaliman gallery combines paintings works with Kingpins hand sewn tapestries, sculptures and costume pieces.
