Hieronymus Posh

Hieronymus Posh was developed as a site specific response to the city Liverpool commissioned by the Liverpool Biennale 2006. The Kingpins elected the site of Port Sunlight, a faux tudor village created by Unilever for the workers of Sunlight Soap factory built between 1889 - 1914.

The Kingpins created a musical intervention to the model town set to an apocalyptic soundtrack by Melbourne based band The Amazing Phillip Sisters. The work connects drag performance with architectural veneers proposing alternative fictions to the British model town.
